Volunteering at the Hospital?

I have orientation on Friday and I find out where I'll be in and stuff. Can anyone tell me how to do volunteers? I volunteered for the Child Life program at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. I loved it! Basically, we met children who were well enough to enter the game room, transported them there, and played with them. We could also do activities next to the bed for children too sick to go to the playroom. I was in the cancer unit a lot, and children who were very sick, I tell them, watch TV with them, talk, or play a board game. It was one of the most rewarding things I've done.
