Windows development: how I can sell my work locally?

I work in stained glass design and I want to do my work as part of work outside my home. I was thinking about doing some samples and make the word of mouth to help sell my work. Any better idea? I'm not sure how to me same market. I can do creative work as art or as part of the doors and windows for houses. I hope to use my art to work the debt with the divorce lawyer. Any ideas on how to present that to her? Thanks for any input they have to offer.
