What's the best way to start a business?
Where I live, we had one store where crafty people could purchase art supplies and yarn, etc. They closed because a big-name franchise decided they wanted the craft store's spot in the mall (ggrrr!!)
So now, when local people want to buy arts and craft supplies, they have to make do with whatever walmart has, or drive 30 minutes down the mountain to Michaels. I do a lot of crafts, and I was thinking it would be a genius idea to open a Craft Supply store near where I live. I just don't know where to begin. I had 2 part-time yrs of accounting, but I don't know how to get financial backing and how to pick a good store front?? Help!
