Bible Craft Ideas

Does anyone have a craft idea for VBS with a theme of Hillbilly?

I am doing crafts for Vacation Bible School and the theme is hillbilly. The ages are k-6th grade.

Ummm...not sure where you're from, but here in Ohio, that's not exactly a Christian name to call someone! But aside from possibly switching to a less loaded term (rural, rustic, etc.), I would do something nature-based. In the programs I've worked with, kids love to make things they can use at home, so placemats, napkin holders, etc. are always popular - one of the most popular was going outside and collecting things like leaves, seeds, etc. and gluing them to a piece of construction paper and having them write appropriate verses on it, then laminating it as a placemat. Then they can use it at home with their families! Have fun!
