Bible School First Time Teaching, HELP!?

OK, here is the deal, I have been the bible school’s teacher’s assistant for the last 3 years. This year I am teaching the class for the first time!! I am so excited!! I have a great opportunity to teach pre-teen class, I have noticed that for the last three years, that our current teacher, who is a very nice lady, and I love her, but she seems to bore the kids to death, I want them to learn about God and know him like I do! I know there are many kids in my class who are not saved, and this is a great opportunity for me, with God’s help, I hope to see them saved! The current teacher reads bible verses, then we do a craft. I want them to enjoy bible school and learn how wonderful God is. I have looked through many bible school books ant the book store, could any of you suggest a good lesson plan, crafts etc.. Thanks and please pray for me.

how about letting them grow up and learn about the world before introducing them to "everything is the way it is because god said so."

give them the chance to question the world around them, to stimulate their brains into actually THINKING, not just accepting "goddidit" as the reason for everything.
