Carlson Craft Wedding Invites

Posted on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in Fun Arts and Crafts

In the return address of the invited, why are the traditional names omitted?

The address is on the list but are almost never names unless handwritten. Speaking to Carlson Craft, etc, including names said is inadequate and therefore why they refuse to do so. How that? Not everyone knows who lives in any direction that is sent from, especially if you may have seen or heard from you in a while and may have moved from then, whatever the case, why assume? Also a lot of spam now looks identical to the wedding invites but there is no address web.

It is a matter of being "irregular" or rude, just a question of what is the current practice. People often use single direction and not the friendly name in the correspondence (as opposed to mail) because the recipient is supposed to know enough to guess that a letter is the number of the street, along with his handwriting. It also gives more privacy for a large house can be mailed to the entire family is in a single desktop and common people take their own. It is entirely on the sender or may not include a name in the address. There is a big no-tag is not like telling people what kind of gift you expected. If your printer is so presumptuous as to say what may or may not lead his own correspondence, then get a new printer.
