In the return address of the invited, why are the traditional names omitted?

The address is on the list but are almost never names unless handwritten. Speaking to Carlson Craft, etc, including names said is inadequate and therefore why they refuse to do so. How that? Not everyone knows who lives in any direction that is sent from, especially if you may have seen or heard from you in a while and may have moved from then, whatever the case, why assume?
