Create your own tile-faced paper

When you are planning a renovation project or craft, you want to use chips that offer the colors and patterns they love. If you've been searching and just can not find the "perfect" tiles, you will be relieved that You can create your own tile designs simply by using a tile grid. Want a new model? Would you like to mix their own colors? Need a custom mosaic image? This is the easy way to get exactly what you want.
Materials needed for this project include:
· Glass Tiles - I like Giorbello Classic Tesserae, Atlantis, Urban Collection, Summer Clouds, gold leaf or any other 20mm x 20mm x 4mm tile glass to fit your tile networks.
Tile · network (s) - (20mm x 20mm tiles)
· Craft Paper
Paste paper tapestry
· Inexpensive brush (about 2 ")
· Small Roller
· Paint Bucket and mixing stick
Step 1: Prepare your Tiles
After choosing your tile design and colors, separate the component parts coating (if facing paper mounted just soak in hot water - if they are mesh mounted soak in hot water and use a brush to remove any residue of adhesive on the back of the piece).
Step 2: Prepare sheets of face
Cut sheets of craft paper about 1 / 2 "smaller than the size general network. This allows you to keep the edges of the pictures displayed for the mosaic sheets can be aligned next to each other during assembly.
Step 3: Wallpaper Adhesive mixture
Mix the wallpaper adhesive according to the manufacturer's instructions (or use pre-mixed adhesive). Dilute the adhesive so it can be easily removed after mounting the chips. Downstream of the tail in 50% (twice the amount of mixed adhesive by adding an amount Like Water).
Step 4: Design Tile
Place the chips in the tile grid as designed in mosaic. Sure placing the tiles with the finished side up.
Step 5: Apply adhesive Art Paper
Using a brush, wet the face of a sheet of craft paper with a thin layer of wallpaper paste. You want to apply the adhesive evenly over the entire sheet of paper
Step 6: Connect Arts Tile paper
Place the craft paper boxes in the grid with the adhesive side tables. The Art Center of paper - the edges of the boxes should continue to show. Using a small dry paint roller press the paper into the tiles and pave all bubbles between the paper and tiles.
Step 7: Allow to dry
Allow the paper to dry before removing the paintings from the network. Drying time varies depending on temperature, humidity and the amount of adhesive used. Usually does not take much time.
Step 8: Remove the grid sheet
Once the sheet has dried, you can remove it from the network with the network just flip over and peeling the tile sheet away from the network.
That's it! You have created your own custom, tile-faced role. Now you can install on walls or use it for crafts. Friends and family will be very impressed and will love the results.
