Craft Room

creative craft room ideas?

ok, i have been begging my mom for a craft room. but is just not happening.
she says you have a perfectly good room. But i am a total clean freak! I hate having a lot of thing out in my room! It bothers me! i don't know what i'm going to do! HELP!

Maybe my system will work for you too....I've divided all of my craft supplies up by type and have put them into shoebox sized tupperware containers and labeled them. I've put them on a special shelf in my closet--one stack on top of another and have easy access whenever I need a craft item. Because I'm a little OCD with organizing, I've also divided up craft items inside of their boxes. For example, I have a "ribbon" box that houses all of my ribbon. But I've used the snack-sized ziploc baggies to divide the ribbon up by color. One bag has black ribbon, the next has brown. Yet another has blue and another has pink, etc. That way I don't have one big ribbon mess--instead things are divided up and easy to access. You can also get a divided craft and/or fishing tackle box to divide up smaller items like beads and/or rhinestones. I hope that this helps! : ) If you can't have a craft room, maybe you can have a craft closet instead! ; )
