Each holiday season we have lots of delicious things tucked into beautifully tin cans garnished. After quickly devoured the contents of these tin cans, we are left with empty containers. While container make good memories for all small objects in the house, such as vouchers, receipts, mail, cleaning and such, sometimes I like to do more with them. Here is a children easy craft project involving Christmas recycling tin cans .

Recycled Tin Luminary Cube Art Project Children

Material:

• Empty tin buckets
• Design (simple design works best here - think of the stars, trees, hearts, flowers)
• A large nail
• A hammer
• Tape
• A votive candle

Instructions for recycling tin bucket Luminary Art Project Children

1. Fill the tin cans with a little water and freeze the water first. This will make easier the design of the hammer in the buckets tin.
2. Tape around the can design.
3. Take the big nail and a hammer until it punches a hole in the tin bucket. Continue to drill holes around the edge of your design. You need enough holes so you can see what the pattern, but try not to drill the holes too close together.
4. Once you've drilled holes around the design, remove the paper and ribbon tin bucket.
5. Wait until the ice melts. Cover with water to speed the fusion process. Dry tin bucket with a towel. Place a candle in the bottom of the tin spoon.
6. Sit back and admire your work.
