Display Case
I have a lighted Barbie display case used in stores by Mattel. How do I find out how much its worth?
This case is white, metal I believe with a glass front. Barbie is written on it in the traditional pink lettering. It plugs in and has a working light and also locks. It was used in Wal Mart and Toys R Us stores by Mattel to display collection edition Barbies.
In all honesty, they aren't worth much. There is someone who has been trying to sell those on kijiji.com for about 3 years, with no luck. They are selling 2 for $300.00, which is a damn good price, but the problem is that as a Barbie collector, if I am going to buy shelving, I will need something that will display up to 65 dolls at once, and those cases only hold about 5-10 tops. You might be better off selling them via a secondary market at a Barbie retailer.
