How oraganize large cone of thread in my art room?

I would like 48 cones hang on my wall, but not want to build blocks and wood from zero. All ideas to make about a different article? The "pin" should be about 4 "tall and the distance should be approximately 2.5 cm wide. racks message does not work, I know because I bought one for my embroidery thread and small cones fall all the time - EEK - thank you very much for the ideas.
