Love this couple.Oh soo simple and primitive. Wearing tea dyed osnaburg collars and ties. The Mrs is wearing a simple bonnet of osnaburg and the Mr has a painted osnaburg hat. Lips are separately attached and wonderfully prim.These are also in a pattern.

970 Turkey-7"

What's Thanksgiving without some kinda turkey! These are really cool and very easy to hang because they are totally flat. They are made from muslin and I machine quilted the tail parts. The turkey head has a stitched eye and a chenille gobbler..not sure what those hangy-down things are so I'm calling them gobblers. LOL Just so ya know, the turkey head is hot glued on the tail part. I hate using hot glue but it was kinda necessary on this.

Tail feathers are hot glued on the back and they are actual husks taken off of Indian corn.

Thank you Pilgrims are my latest addition to the Thanksgiving page..hope ya like them cause I think they are darned cute!! From head to toe now...Twinkle sheep hair, eyes are stitched,lips are attached. Clothes are made from black cotton fabric and the collars and apron,bonnet and pantaloons are made from osnaburg tea dyed fabric. Legs are painted white and shoes are black. Sweet couple to decorate your Thanksgiving Holiday with.

Lil Folk Pilgrims-7"

OMG I love this lil couple!! They are small enough to stand just about anywhere especially in a lil cupboard nook. All one piece made from muslin.Clothes are brown and painted on, sanded and tea dyed. Lil guy's hat and belt is separately sewn on and were hand painted and sanded. Osnaburg collars and rusty bells are held on with rusty safety pins.Lil girl's hat and apron are also made from osnaburg. Don't they look adorable with the turkey!!
