how to make my own paint?

im doing a craft with the kids i watch and we r gona paint on a huge piece of paper out side. well since i have the paper i got 4 free i wanna keep it cheap as possible. so how do i make non toxic washable paint in large amounts that is easy cheap and perferablly you dont have to cook cuz its just 2 hott to do that. thanks!

Buy cheap poster paint at a place like Michael's or the dollar store. Raw pigments are expensive to buy and many are toxic! Poster paint is non toxic, cleans with water, comes in big squeeze bottles and is not expensive. Anything you have at home that could be used won't be brilliant enough for a kids project. Most home paints are made with cooked and curdled milk (also known as casein) or with egg yolk or with bottles of old fashioned laundry starch and blueing, food items are expensive and I haven't seen bottled starch or blueing in years.
