Furniture Craft Table

Hello. I waqs Formica asked if I can put in a large wooden desk older?

I just bought this wooden conference table that is in its original, which is excellent with only slight discoloration. However, I bought it to use as a Craft Table for rubber stamping and scrapbooking workshops. The room is lavender with white of my seat and all the other furniture in the room a bright white. I've been told I'm crazy for wanting to finish this piece but I do not buy it for an inheritance, I bought it for a purpose and I am a matchy-matchy real type of person ....... Can anyone help me with this? I wonder if I can cover Formica laminate desk? I know this is what I use on counters and this tends to keep forever. Any help with this and / or a reference in the Cleveland, Ohio area would great! Thank you very much for your time. Nicole:)

I would like to get some plywood or wood for your deck and just use tape to hold it responsible in place, so that does not damage the top and can save someone in the future to enjoy.
