These ideas are budget friendly, so anyone can do. I hope these ideas spark some inspiration to do at least one of these clever creations for Thanksgiving this year.

(Free step by step instructions with photos are available at craft 4 Kids)

Thanksgiving projects:

1. Indian Corn Decoration - Children will have very fun doing this project! Tear strips of tissue paper and then grouped into small balls. Place the tissue paper with glue yellow card. Add raffia at the corn lower for the final touch and easy installation.

2. Thanksgiving Decor Terra Cotta Pot - This table decoration is also fun can be used as a candy dish. Coping with a turkey, covering a wooden spoon foam art. Then put a piece of foam around the edge of a pot clay, feathers inserted along the interior of the foam and glue on the face turkey. This art also makes a great hostess gift.

Other Frugal Home Décor Projects to include Thanksgiving:

Handprint Turkey Grab some brown construction paper and help your child trace their hand prints on it. Reduce their handprints and let them draw a face for the turkey in the thumb. It creatively can be colored "pens" and add a little sparkle sparkle glue for a party.

Glam Leaves: Get a few sheets of adhesive foam that supports the blade and cut out several forms. Add some rhinestones and glitter of the adhesive side (nice and clean - no glue required!) and hang with a ribbon.

Family Thanksgiving Activities:

  1. "Thankful Tree. "Draw a tree full of branches on construction paper and cut it out. Draw and cut about 20 construction paper for 10 sheets. Have each member family to write something that they are thankful to each leaf. Create a "thankful tree" by placing the leaves on the tree. When they see it on paper, your family are very grateful for the blessings we have.
  2. Take a walk. After the big Thanksgiving dinner, spending time with family and children out walking. Enjoy the identification of different types of trees by their leaves and be sure to take lots of pictures - more Later, you can convert images homemade cards and holiday gifts.
  3. Play a game. Bring the whole family and play a favorite game of all time. It can be a board game or an active game like Pictionary.

Based on the idea of grace and encourage children be thankful for, even the simple things in life are lessons that stay with them throughout their lives. To do activities to teach (and remember) that tries to be grateful are giving them essential for future projects and show them how blessed they are at this time.
