You may not even have to make a special trip to the store to buy the ingredients - using only 3 ingredients and all are common in the kitchen of anyone. Homemade playdough

Materials:

½ cup salt
½ cup water
1 cup flour
food coloring (any color)
newspaper to cover work surface

Finding a suitable work space and cover with newspaper to avoid trouble. Find a medium bowl to blend ingredients.

Pour 1 cup of flour in the bowl, followed by a half cup of salt, and finally, ½ cup water.

With a spoon (or hands), mix the ingredients into the bowl until soft (not mealy or watery). If you find the mixture too sticky, sprinkle some more flour (and vice versa if it is too dry - add water).

Use any color food coloring desired, add a few drops into the cup. Knead the dough until the color extends throughout. This part is fun for kids, because all you really need to do is play with him for the color to spread.

This art is so easy to do and with so few ingredients and low cost is not great only for parents but for some adults need a job to keep the kids occupied. It can be used in Sunday school or preschool, it is great for kids and girls alike.

Although the dough is done now, the fun is over - the children get to exploit their imagination and creativity to play with it and whatever its desire to shape the minds.
