Bruce Springsteen albums

The boss is somewhat difficult to achieve, a mega star who forged a close relationship with his audience, an artist manages to integrate a street credo among fans even more snobbish, a musician who always has to be valid, it must, however, has never changed his clothes, no matter alter image, one of the "next Bob Dylan 'brigade happened to not be anything like Bob Dylan in some respects and was perhaps the only brigade to have success, the song of a swing on issues of small town that makes sense for the world hating boss heads the list of contradictions is as long as it is extraordinary. Interestingly, also got in as early as the mid-sixties, rocking with his band The Castile, wanting to be Elvis, who had witnessed beatings all the world with their backs on the Ed Sullivan Show - Springsteen in any case is a link between rock music and modern rock music of our grandparents, I miss that. Springsteen came the hard way, while Dylan went to the stars and their influences, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones became legends, Springsteen is staggered and out of an excess of bands - The Rogues Child, Earth, Steel Mill, Dr. Zoom and the Sonic Boom, which seemed to go the way of his beloved Asbury Park, be forgotten, submerged in their own world, not to escape his past, bound by it. A previous attempt to break the scene of Greenwich Village, with all vendors and other hipsters had failed, and was found again in Asbury, back to the little town, away from the lights and around other small town, musicians unimportant.

Or so it seemed, but appearances can be deceiving and this was a small town were nothing but definitely not unimportant, some of these kids coast of New Jersey include Steve van Zandt, Vini Lopez and Vinnie Roslin, all that Springsteen would first successful band, Steel Mill and would to form the core of the E-Street Band. As Asbury Park itself, Springsteen has drawn influence from the small town until today. In the past decade the desert, served him well as he honed his craft as a songwriter, musician and performer. It was never to forget, why should he? I loved him and knew that how good your new Jersey musicians were when John Hammond signed him to Columbia in 1972, he gave them to him in the studio, effectively establishing the E Street Band. The resulting album title Greetings from Asbury Park (1973) said it all, like it matters - the youth rebellion, strippers in strip clubs, veterans Vietnam, cars and hubcap heaven, ambiguous religion, the stories of Mary's heart, naughty parties, brushes with the law and love messy. The album did not break the charts, but critics were effusive in their praise, proclaiming Springsteen as the heir to the throne of Dylan. Springsteen did not mean too much I was plowing his own furrow, working in his office, the release of the prolific Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle in September 1973. Once again the public missed the boat, later with the release of Born to Run (1975), record stores not being able to maintain or greetings from Asbury Park, on the shelves.

Born to Run (1975) would change everything, but Springsteen struggled terribly in the recording. Seeing as his last chance to achieve a commercially viable record, strove for perfection, becoming frustrated when the sounds in your head is not replicated in the study, in fact was deeply satisfied with the final product. Was released a big hype, the rumors that had been building and building, a rare thing, which is justified, the new record set by the whole thing rock and roll what it is. It was also the word mass, radios pumped Born to Run, Thunder Road, Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out and Jungleland, the masses adored him, Springsteen made the cover of Time and Newsweek the same day. Yes, they were now trying to swallow, transform into a star, mold it to the Messiah who wanted it. Springsteen had other ideas, his next album Darkness on the edge of the city (1978), was a darker, more political issue, Springsteen is definitely not going to sell commercially. The songs were on the small town characters that have populated previous records, but this time it was broken and torn apart by the pressures of modern life, they even let the songs Fire and Because the Night off the record because he sang a lot of hope, which later became hits for the Pointer Sisters and Patti Smith. The album is raw, electric, powerful, blazing, as was the promotional tour, Springsteen and others. By becoming famous for their live performances, playing every night as if it were your last.

Completed the trilogy of albums with The River (1980), a double album tour force an astonishing range of styles in the program. If Born to Run and Darkness on the edge of town detail the experiences, the river throws at people after the completion of the treachery committed against them and made their complicity in them. But Springsteen is offering a candy-coated way of redemption, no sir, rather, the maps of the paths taken Dreiserian, the method of simply finding a way to cope, to move forward. Springsteen was a little over thirty years, however, his world-weariness and the final conclusions, as Whitman wisely. The plight of the working class was concerned, had to sing their sentences, the record of the diverse musical palette had the paradoxical effect of making us dance, sing, thrash and fainting while listening to the voice of our Chief worlds and lives, at least someone. Springsteen was not kidding around and there was no commercial company Nebraska (1982) showed that. A raw, lo-fi record that Springsteen are alone with an acoustic, bitter and angry, has been supported by the E street everything is too serious for the distractions of music, Springsteen is facing down the barrel of all this alone. No matter the expectations, no matter the industry, Springsteen wanted to Nebraska and Nebraska did it. Taking over from a long list of radical troubadours like Woody Guthrie, Elliott Ramblin 'Jack, Blind Willie McTell and Hank Williams. He was opening his arms to the United States, and not limited to the confines of New Jersey, taking the cause of all States, telling people that he was the does, and he could do it only if necessary.

If isolated from Nebraska, the next album Born in the USA (1984), gave birth to his feet, became the biggest selling albums of all time, seven of which are single U.S. broke the Top 10. The band embarked on what would become one of Brand mammoth touring to promote the album. For fifteen months, Springsteen crew roamed the world, night after night marathon sets the delivery of intensity the spell-binding. When the box set, Live 1979-1985 was released in 1986, sold three million copies, everyone wanted a piece of Springsteen. In Born in the U.S., The Boss returned to sing about people, but there was hope, faint hope, but we expect nothing less, and wrapped him in more elegiac lyricism even say, he was telling us what we feared, but were also realizing that we were far from alone. The album is as much Springsteen's work, as much a wolf in sheep's clothing, the music makes you want to sing and dance and forget. But again plays force the listener to pay attention to the lyrics and so it soon becomes Clearly something is rotten in the state of Denmark. As life in modern America, at first sight it can all seem content, normal, satisfied ... but the reality is much bleaker. Springsteen was not about to shy away from what he believed was inherently wrong with modern America - a courageous stand. He took even more courageous stance in its next record, Tunnel of Love (1987), dealing with personal issues in a remarkably candid.

Its objective was now more micro, love relationships, personal entanglements, warring domesticity, all are met in the head. He protests against the promises we make and then break, the demons that haunt us, drives us in our noble ideals of love and commitment. And Springsteen is not moving the fingers, is placed at the center of the disc, surprisingly his own marriage was breaking as a result of the album. Tunnel of Love marked the end of an extraordinary period of creativity, eight impressive records a period of fourteen years, all cited by critics as masterpieces. Five years of silence, Springsteen, obviously, takes time away, time to regroup, to meditate. He returned in 1992 with the launch of the Human Touch and Lucky Town albums, five years is a long time and the Chief had much to say. In addition, much had changed, the E Street band had disappeared, the doubts and inner demons seemed to have dissipated, he was a family man now, could not afford to be so bleak. The phone numbers threw many fans in despair, disappointed that there were so cruelly sent his faithful lieutenants were perhaps feeling a little dismayed that Springsteen seems to have settled his fear to some extent, would now be the voice of their lives? They should have known better than anything So, The Ghost of Tom Joad (1995) was their darkest, most abrasive disc to date. Gone were the hymns, the music had been inspiring, cunning and the stratagem was gone without warmth and daggers, there was no need longer to work second or third time, the album did not take long, Bruce was still bugged.

The Boss was going way back to Nebraska, shaking the ghost of Guthrie and Steinbeck once again. It was sad, and after his release, Springsteen disappeared, it was like the disappointment had become too much for him, who had become sick and tired of the lack of change. Rumors abound that they was for the boss, retired, who did not want to hear about it. And then September 11, just outside his beloved New Jersey, whatever truth had been, what other option, but had to return? And the Calvary was with him, the E-Street Band was reformed, the first time they were again underway since 1987 Tunnel of Love. And the best! Many fans saw the nineties as a lack of food Springsteen, and of course there is truth to that, Springsteen admits that himself. If so, the Rising (2002) was a second coming, resurrection marked the beginning of a return to form that has lasted for the rest of the decade. But once again on its own terms - 2005 and dust devils are The Boss only once more, only he and his sound, while in 2006 he recorded We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions, an album of covers of traditional folk songs and hit the road with the Seeger Sessions Band. He reconvened the E-Street Band for the year 2007, the Magic, who seemed unstoppable, was their third album in eighteen months and was an exceptional record, the return of a great sound. And so it goes, this year has made sixty kick off with the launch of Working on a Dream (2009). The record has the feel of a debut, is so fresh, energetic and vigorous as an offering for a new kid on the block. The E Street Band is in as good shape as ever, as hungry as ever and remains the head chief.
