Ideas for Mother's Day Crafts for a Grade 6 class?

The class is only 45 minutes long and there is no funding much. We need something simple but appropriate for their age.

This is a project I did when I was in fourth grade, but I'm sure you very well for a 6 pupils, as it was a bit overwhelming. Supplies from an old CD (or cardboard / Circle Tagboard about the size of the CD) Yellow Construction Paper Wallet Image Size Magnet School glitter glue (optional) Email (optional) Frist, we stuck our image in the center of the circle. Then cut "petals" with construction paper, many of them (can not remember how many). Les layers around the circle starting with the outer edge, then make another layer and another layer of what was a sunflower! To reduce the time, can make the smaller circle so that you have many layers, only depends on the size of the image. My class tagboard just used, but my sunflower proved to be the size of a CD. Stick the magnet on the back. Write the date on the back. Waat If children are could write "I love you" or something like petals and decorate with glitter or markers. Another thing to consider is the image, and use "acid free" paper and glue if real, very cradle of printed images. Library Media Center in your school can print color for you. I know that my school stored picture of all, and you get "pictures tagged" for us! Sorry my instructions are a little clearer. I did in fourth grade, and I know I'm in the ninth!
