Is it still okay to eat expired stuff if you never open?

buttermilk. around a month expired .... but never opened it, and been refrigerated since I bought it. and bad that I use in the manufacture of foods such as biscuits and cakes, etc. so that any bacteria repulsive-that-makes-things-expire to die right? ... I do not know. What do you think?

It really depends on the product. Something like yogurt, fat is probably good for a very, very long time after the expiration, if not open, but that's because the bacteria cultures in yogurt to lower the pH and also out of competition other agency while still in its closed state. Buttermilk? Educated, perhaps, but steady, I'm not so sure. Impaired, there is the presence of bacteria, by itself, that disgusting, is that toxins and by-products created by the bacteria as part of their metabolic processes that make you sick, so there is a risk twice - 1) If ingest live bacteria that can live, multiply and create toxins in the body, or 2) if ingested enough of the toxins left by bacteria, living or dead, in the food we consume. If toxins have already been created, you can still get sick, even if you cook food and kill bacteria. Think about the Bo-Tox injections. No are injecting botulism bacteria (a contaminant of known foods) are the injection of their products, which are unpleasant enough paralyze the muscles of the face of someone for a long, long time.
