Hyderabad, the city of Nizams and pearls

Hyderabad is the capital of Andhra Pradesh, India. It lies on the Deccan plateau 1,776 meters above sea level and has an area of 625 km ². Hyderabad city is known for its historical background, food and culture. Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah founded this city in 1591.Hyderabad and Secunderabad are twin cities separated by the Hussain Sagar lake made during the reign of Ibrahim Qutub Shah in 1562. The twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad are known Hyderabad collectively and together form the sixth largest city in India. Is known by different synonyms like "City of Pearls," "City Nizams "and" City of Nawabs ". The city of Hyderabad is an amalgam of tradition and modernity. Hyderabad has become a major hub for IT industry Information in India. Known as the capital of biotechnology and pharmacy as well. Telugu film industry is the second largest in India named as Tollywood and houses the world's largest film studio, the Ramoji Film City.

Reaching Hyderabad

By train: Hyderabad is well connected by Railways in India of a wide railway network connecting the major cities of India. All trains leaving stations have Kacheguda Nampally and stop at the Secunderabad railway station.

By Road: Hyderabad City is well connected to all major road states. The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has a well-designed road system that connects the city by roads.

Tourist Attractions in Hyderabad

Not a lot of places interest of tourists in Hyderabad is historical monuments, gardens and museums, etc. You can see the Charminar city symbol, the famous fortress of Golconda, Kohinoor diamond was taken from here. Then, right next to the fort is the famous Qutub Shahi Tomb, an amalgam of Indian and Persian architecture. The tombs are Paigah an exquisite example of fine art in marble. Raymond's Tomb, built in memory of a French general and the Salar Jung Museum has a collection of over 40,000 artifacts from around the world, etc. So you can call the city as a tourist destination.

Charminar: Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah built this exquisite monument of the city "The Charminar" in 1591. The historic Charminar in the heart of Hyderabad. Golconda Fort, Qutub Shahi kings who ruled 16 century built the fortress of Golconda. Qutub Shahi Tombs: The Qutub Shahi tombs are located near the fort of Golconda. The Tombs of Qutub Shahi architectural genius is a perfect blend of Indian and Persian built in gray granite decorated with beautiful ornaments. The tombs are domed structures built in high places, surrounded by arches at the base. The vaults were originally covered with blue tiles and green but only a few pieces remain today.

This magnificent tomb is the largest monument in Hyderabad with 42 meters high. These tombs were highly revered during the Qutub Shahi period. Currently the State Government organizes every year the Festival of Deccan "exclusively in the city of Hyderabad as a backdrop graves background. There are many famous artists of music, dance and theater invited to perform on this occasion.

Paigah Tombs: Paigah Tombs are unique samples of art remarkable that you can see the beautiful inlaid tiles. The geometric patterns and designs of these stunning tombs are extraordinary. Paigah tombs are the tombs of the nobles Paigah generations. Paigah nobles Nizams were close and enjoyed a special status in society. They were responsible for maintaining security and defending the state. Abdul Fateh Khan Tegh Jung founded the nobility Paigah and services to the second Nizam, between 1760 and 1803. The Nizam was awarded the prestigious title of Shams-ul-Umra, which means "the sun among the masses." Tegh Jung was buried in 1786 in the lobby of the complex. A steel plate at the entrance of complex traces the lineage Paigah and exalts the greatness of marble dome. The Paigahs also were great patrons of the arts, literature and sports. The rulers and ordinary people respect the Paigah nobles.

Raymond's Tomb: The tomb was built in memory the brave French General Michel Joachim Marie Raymond (1755 - 1798 AD). He had joined the service of the ruling Nizam of Hyderabad as a soldier. However, he was promoted the position of an army general before. He was a very respectable as it was affectionately called by Hindus and Muslims Musa Ram Rahim named Musa. The tomb is still a symbol of great respect among the masses, as their respects to the army general the night of the anniversary of his death by lighting incense sticks near the grave. Raymond's tomb is a conical structure which consists of black granite slabs. It is 60 meters long, 30 meters wide and 10 meters high. Raymond Tomb is located 10 km away from the center of the city of Hyderabad. The tomb is open daily except Fridays. The visiting time to visit this tomb is from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The Salar Jung Museum: This is the oldest museum in the city of Hyderabad. It has the largest collection of artifacts from all over the world. This museum houses a large collection of rare antiques and trinkets. It takes a full day to visit this museum legendary. Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, commonly known as Salar Jung III, was the most important collections. However, it was started by his father Nawab Mir laiqa Ali Khan, also known as Salar Jung II and his grand father Mir Nawab Turab Ali Khan ie Salar Jung I. The museum has a rich collection of about 40,000 items, cumulative worldwide. The portraits of the Salar Jung, the Nizams Hyderabad city can be seen in the Gallery's founder. A library well preserved in the museum is a rare treat for book lovers.

Ramoji Film City: This is the world's largest film studio complex. It is one of the most popular attractions of Hyderabad. The movie studio complex is well equipped with natural and artificial backgrounds. The Film City is located 25 kms from Hyderabad. Ramoji Rao, director of the Ramoji Group opened this studio complex in 1996. The study facilitates pre-production, production and postproduction. The infrastructure of the study is well equipped with the latest gadgets. The studio complex with more 500 inclusive of places provided by gardens, high-tech laboratories, outdoor locations, soil studies and real groups.

University Osmania: The last Nizam of Hyderabad Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan founded the Osmania University. Osmania University is the oldest establishment study sessions higher in India and the third oldest in southern India. Has been running for nine decades. Has made significant contribution to academic improvement, social and economic development of the region and nation. It has been internationally recognized alumni from India and abroad. Osmania University was awarded five star status by National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) of University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India.

HITEC City: HITEC City is the Hyderabad Information Technology Engineering Consultancy city, a municipality of technology in Hyderabad. It is a stark contrast to the old city, with monuments and palaces. It is a charming Shilparamam, arts and crafts village, located near the technology center. It's amazing to see last coexistence. This city offices Hitech multinational software company like IBM, Microsoft, GE Capital, Toshiba, Infosys and Wipro, etc.
