What will they do when I go?

I'm going to the gyno for the first time b/c my mom wantz me to go on the pill what will they do my first time there and can they tell if you're a virgin or not? I am but i've played a lot of sportz and I've biked and excercized and horseback rode so could i have broken my hymen?? thank you!!

The first time I went to the gyno, it was because I was pregnant so my experience isn't going to be exactly the same as yours. The dr doesn't really care to see if you are a virgin. She will ask you if you are, and whatever you say is what she will listen to.

You will get a pap smear. They stick cold forceps (they look kind of like tongs) inside you. You have to relax and then they kind of swab around in there with a qtip. It willl be very uncomfortable, especially if you are nervous.

It's not that bad, and honestly, the doctor isn't about to to a heavy investigation of your hymen. Good luck.
