Why shoe companies do not have a letter set size shoes?

my size 7.5 (UK) came with shoe size 9 (UK) and templates that fit perfectly into the shoes ... Why?

For all the shoe shops have different size as a thing. I found this size and 5 show that fit perfectly and this 8 or something that was too small. you should just try the shoes by size. if a 7.5 is too small then larger deal also most shoe stores have a sizing chart and u can ask someone for one or use the things that make feet or ur on this thing and tells you what size shoe to use Hope this helps!
