Toys for Tots - 2010 results Donation!

The holiday season is a great time full of love, family and gift giving. However, it can be a time of tension and concern for individuals and families who are struggling. Life can be a difficult roller coaster of ups and downs, and all of us can relate with that on some level. Perhaps one of the largest charities and more reliable operation during the holidays is Toys for Tots. Tracing its origins back to 1947, Toys for Tots has been taking a vacation for parents and children for decades.

One reason for the faith, confidence and success Toys for Tots is the charitable arm which is official U.S. Navy. It's great to see Marines in uniform only in collecting donations during the holiday season. Often we forget the two families that are struggling, and families who are sacrificing to protect our country and freedom. Seeing the Marines during the holidays reminds us to think of others and donate what is comfortable for each of us.

One of the best aspects is that Toys for Tots donations stay local. You is literally giving your community and we find that fantastic. Since 2009, Toys for Tots has donated a staggering 500 000 000 toys! That's an extraordinary number is only possible through the generosity of people and deep trust in the U.S. Navy.

In radar toys we believe and participate in Toys for Tots for our community. Every child deserves a great party and help families struggling to alleviate some of the load is realistic that we do every year. Last year, 2010, marked an important turning point for us here on the radar. We have reached just under $ 800 in donations of toys for our community, Lane County, Oregon. Could not have done without the generosity of many people, many in our area.

We would like to thank genuine friendliness with the following: staff and customers Lanes Bowling Alley Esmeralda for their generous donations, time and the use of its headquarters. Your donations made the difference this year! Richard and Mary Jo Goosman for their hard work and dedication in promoting the efforts of charity this year and last year past. And last but not least, we would like to thank: the customer, neighbor, worker, mother --- and the father to give his best. You have made a difference in your community holiday. They never saw it, but somewhere a child was filled with eyes and joy this holiday because of their generosity. And somewhere, a mother or father was the love of his community.

So thank you. Thanks for helping to make 2010 the best year yet for Toys for Tots donations in the history of radar Toys. We are excited and hopeful for 2011.
