Tigre is a Party party or municipality of Buenos Aires, Argentina, located in the north of Buenos Aires. The department covers a large part of the delta of the Parana and its low-lying islands. The main town division is Tigre, other cities include Don Torcuato, Talar El, General Pacheco, Benavdez.

The colonial era
Tigre's history dates back to a port on the Rio Las Conchas, which resulted in the village of Las Conchas.
