Since ancient times, India is world famous as a land of arts and crafts. Whole range of important crafts are doing here, such as textiles, jewelry, wood and metal crafts, etc. Craft Village is the concept of today to express the intricate art created and indigenous crafts. This ensures the presence of craft and craftsmen in one place. Various handicrafts are exposed to all the world. crafts are displayed and sold here. The concept of craftsmanship of the people has become successful in the promotion of rural artisans and performers in a big way.

Craft Village is made with numerous large and small jobs. These posts are manufactured in a cottage to create the atmosphere of a village in India. Dilli Haat, Delhi
Haat Food TheDilli and Craft Bazar is a joint project of Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) and New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC). Dilli Haat is based on six acres of field, located in southern Sri Aurobindo Marg Delhi facing the INA market. The concept of Dilli Haat is taken from the traditional village fairs in various parts of India. All Dilli Haat project was conceived to give a boost to village artisans and craftsmen. They meet face to face with buyers not only from India but also other parts of the world. Dilli Haat is as colorful and rich in experience, that many tourists have come back to visit again and again. It's more than a celebration of craftsmanship.

Shilpgram, Udaipur
"Village of artisans" The literal meaning is Shilpgram. Located in the lap of the rugged Aravalli the Shilpgram is only 3 kilometers from Udaipur. The huts set up there gives a lovely exotic Rajasthan handicrafts including pottery, terracotta work, idols of gods and goddesses, traditional musical instruments, woodwork and furniture.

Surajkund Mela, Faridabad
The Surajkund Crafts is an annual event that encourages some of the finest handloom and handicraft traditions of the country. This Mela began in 1981 to promote handicrafts and handloom industry. From February 1 to 15 rural India enjoys the warmth of admiration Surajkund mela village that lies about 8 km south of Delhi. This mela color represents the different nuances of Indian art and crafts including inlay work, wood carving rose, sandalwood Punjab and South India, the wooden boats of Kashmir Chiki. The phulkari of Punjab, the Banjara and Banni embroidery of Gujarat and Rajasthan are the masterpiece of craftsmanship. Some fine paintings of Rajasthan, temple paintings of Orissa, Madhubani paintings from Bihar are fascinating products in the mela. Several craft products are displayed in the Mela each year.
